January Jones is no stranger to fashion risk-taking. After all, this is the woman who once
covered her breasts in red strings at the Golden Globes.
Sometimes January's sartorial dauntlessness pays off, and other times it falls flat, as it seems to have done Thursday night at a screening of
La Revolution Bleue at the Paris Theatre in NYC.
Jones donned a unique dress from designer
Mary Katrantzou's Fall 2012 collection that featured an abstract print, off the shoulder sleeves, and a peplum skirt. The print on the bodice of the dress looked like a cross between a cat and the demon magic that
Sigourney Weaver saw when she opened her fridge in
Ghostbusters, are we're also not crazy about the stuffy flower print adorning the skirt.
To her credit, the 34-year-old actress kept the rest of her look simple, wisely foregoing jewelry and pulling her hair back into a messy bun. But we're still not sold on this look, which is peculiar in both print and cut. What do you think?
