But for a few hours on the Interwebs last night, the attention was turned to something other than Justin Bieber's troubled teen romance—his leather tank top and quilted skinny harem pants.
Skinny harem pants? We never ever knew that was a possibilty.
For the 2012 American Music Awards, the Biebs wore a quarter-sleeve open-front cardigan with a sleek leather tank and coordinating black pants—which were fitted at the ankles, but baggy in the, er, crotch. A blinged-out silver chain and studded smoking slippers rounded out the look.
He later changed into an equally mind-boggling pair of red leather pants of the same variety—this time with articulated knees. See for yourself:
