(Getty) Just two years ago, Aubrey O'Day and her former Danity Kane bandmates shed their threads for the sake of PETA, posing behind a "We'd rather go naked than wear fur!" banner.

Now, Aubrey is wearing leather and fur frocks to Hollywood parties. How quickly things change.

There is, of course, the possibility that O'Day's fur skirt is completely faux. But even if it isn't, it's hard to understand what's going on here. Of course Aubrey knew this dress—worn with YSL sandals—would land her in the back pages of Us Magazine, with snarky commentary to boot. But leather? Fur? In a prom-style silhouettte? With birds embroidered on the bodice?
