Hillary Clinton may be making history, although perhaps not in the manner she might have anticipated. The Secretary of State arrived at the United Nations on Friday to discuss a host of topics, from the return of American hiker Sarah Shourd from Iran to relief efforts in Pakistan and Haiti. Unfortunately, most of Clinton's efforts in New York City were overshadowed by her choice of coiffure.
Clinton held her blonde hair up with a simple plastic clip—a choice that has critics railing about informality. Among the headlines prompted by the 'do:
Hillary Clinton Prepares for Huge UN Meeting with Lank Locks -
Daily Mail
Hillary's Hairdo Doesn't Cut It - MediaBistro
Hillary Clinton's Hair Time Out - Gothamist
Hillary Clinton Scrapes Her Hair Back Like David Beckham -
The Mirror (my personal favorite)
What do you think—is the clip really worth all the fuss? And isn't it better than the Blair Waldorf headbands she used to wear in the early '90s?
