Blake Lively Debuts Red Hair, Has Ariel Moment

Blake Lively (PCN)On Tuesday evening, Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively stunned onlookers at the TIME 100 Gala in New York, and not with her choice of attire—although her multicolored Zuhair Murad did show a considerable amount of cleavage (but not that much for Blake).
Lively was sporting a dyed red 'do, a necessity for her role in the upcoming film Hick. Lively explained to People, "I thought [my character] needed red hair. It helps when you’re playing a role, when I don’t feel like myself. And I don’t really feel like myself with red hair.”
Which isn't to say Lively doesn't love the new look: "I love it! I feel like Ariel," she gushed. Perhaps that explains her marine-hued Little Mermaid ensemble.
