Anne Hathaway's New Pixie 'Haircut' Is Just a Wig

Anne Hathaway (PCN)Earlier this week, the beauty blogs were abuzz with news of Anne Hathaway's gamine new pixie cut, as photographed on the Paris set of One Day. But fans of the new look, which seems modeled after the cut Katie Holmes sported for a time last year, will be sad to hear that it's only temporary. That's right: Anne is hiding her own hair somewhere underneath that wig.
So how do they cram one's real hair under a hairpiece? What maestro is able to shrink the naturally-grown volume until it's imperceptible?
Obviously, there are Hollywood types who make this art their life's calling. If Cameron Diaz can go faux-bald, Anne Hathaway can go faux-pixie. We're just betting it's not all that comfortable.
