Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Flaunts a New Blond Crop in NYC

(PCN) Hair color chameleon Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has gone and done the unimaginable—she's finally shorn off her lengthy extensions in favor of a kicky new blond crop.Simpson-Wentz, who was part of the first wave of celebrities to debut two-toned hair color, showed off her bright new shade on Wednesday in New York City, where she posed for photographs outside her hotel. The singer is still digging the hipster vibe, as she strutted in slate gray skinny jeans, a leopard print swing jacket, a black fedora and a covetable red Chanel bag.
Something tells us Ashlee's got some sort of announcement to go with all these major changes. Her husband Pete Wentz hinted at something on Thursday when he tweeted, "Follow [CEO of Niche Media] @JasonBinn to keep up with what @AshSimpsonWentz is up to..more to come."
