Now Trending: Hair Products Specifically for Color-Treated Blondes(Source: Thinkstock, Redken, Shu Uemera, John Frieda)For blondes, summer is both the best and the worst time of year. For natural blondes, the sun can often bring out the natural lighter shades and undertones, giving that golden surfer glow. For those not-so-natural blondes, the sun can also make color-treated hair fade and turn brassy. Although there are infinite color-safe haircare products on the market, we've noticed a narrowing of the field this spring and summer with a number of products geared toward just blondes. Check out three of the big ones we noticed hitting the shelves.

Redken Blonde Idol Custom-Tone Conditioner, $24, at amazon.com

This conditioner takes customization to the extreme with an adjustable dispenser. Choose between light to maximum coverage, depending on your own blonde shade and damage. Not only is the formula pH balanced and sulfate free, but the conditioner comes in two forms: a violet one to remove brassiness (pictured above) and a gold one to add warmth.

Shu Uemura Color Lustre, $58, at shuuemuraartofhair.com
Now Trending: Hair Products Specifically for Color-Treated Blondes(Source: Shu Uemura)Similar to Redken, Shu Uemura came out with a blonde-focused collection in two shades (Cool Blonde and Golden Blonde) to focus on the different woes of the flaxen-haired. This formula treats strands by adhering to the cuticle layer without modifying the color, thus neutralizing harsh yellows and refreshing highlights.

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Colour Correct Anti-Brassy Cleansing Treatment, $9, at Walmart
Now Trending: Hair Products Specifically for Color-Treated Blondes(Source: John Frieda)Okay, so if you're a blonde you probably already know about the extensive John Frieda Sheer Blonde collection. But did you know the brand's blonde haircare collection goes far beyond the lightening spray you may have religiously used back in the day? The label also carries an anti-brassy treatment that neutralizes brass by targeting tarnished strands and revitalizing color.
