Obsession: Jennifer Lawrence's Messy Waves (+ How To Get Them!)

Now here's a hairstyle we want to steal from Jennifer Lawrence's red carpet playbook. (Okay, you got us, we basically want to copy everything JLaw does, but these tousled tresses, we're especially infatuated with.)
At the 2013 Santa Barbara Film Festival this weekend, the actress dressed down her Stella McCartney jumpsuit by styling her locks in loose, touchable waves — a trick, we've learned, that's as simple as a towel dry and a few spritzes of salt spray, like Got2B's Beach Trippin' Waving Spray ($5.99 at Ulta.com).

Isn't it crazy how a hairstyle can transform even the most polished of outfits into one that's so carefree? An updo, here, would have made JLaw's black-and-blue number look formal instead of cool and unfussy. It's a hair illusion worth trying on laundry days — a.k.a. the days when only your dressiest work clothes are clean. (The worst, right?) We're definitely making a mental note!
