Red Carpet DIY: Anna Kendrick and Miranda Lambert’s Grammy hair

Apparently a memo circulated about Veronica Lake’s iconic tresses before the Grammys because both Anna Kendrick and Miranda Lambert paid homage to the late actress by sporting deep-parted curls.

1. Apply a volumizing mousse to damp hair, then use a wide-tooth comb to create a deep side part before blow drying.

2. After hair is fully dried, wrap small sections around a 1 or 2-inch curling iron, focusing only on the bottom three to four inches of strands (depending on your tress length).

3. Once you’ve created a sufficient amount of curls, bring your hair to the side furthest from your part and secure middle sections to the nape of your neck using bobby pins.

4. Finish with hairspray and practice your best bombshell pose.
