Last night at the Hollywood premiere for Oz: The Great and Powerful, Rachel Weisz styled her raven tresses into, ahem, a wickedly gorgeous low bun — quite fitting for an actress playing the Wicked Witch of the East, no?

Thankfully, you don't need to click your ruby slippers to get this sleek, side-parted style at home. (Something tells us tons of you may or may not have a big date tonight, and this elegant 'do may or may not be perfect for it!)

Read on for the exact steps Vidal Sassoon hairstylist Ben Skervin used to create the look.

Step 1: Mist locks with Vidal Sassoon's Pro Series Heat Protect & Shine Spray ($3.99 at Target.com), and blow-dry with a large round brush. This will keep the look sleek and smooth — and frizz-free!

Step 2: Once hair is dry, flat iron the roots and mid lengths of your locks for a glossy finish. Then using a rat tail comb (those fine-toothed ones with long skinny ends) create a deep side part.

Step 3: Smooth Vidal Sassoon's Pro Series Extreme Smooth Combing Crème ($3.99 at Target) over the surface of your hair and tightly brush it back into a low ponytail. Secure your pony in place at the nape of your neck with a small elastic.

Step 4: Keep wispy strands locked down and super-sleek by combing a small amount of Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Mega Firm Hold Gel ($3.99 at Target) through your pony.

Step 5: Then, to create a looped circular bun, start at the bottom of the ponytail and roll the hair underneath until it reaches the base of the ponytail. Secure the roll with bobby pins.

Step 6: Lastly, smooth gel over the top of your hair for a super-shiny look. Lock the entire style down with hairspray to smooth any flyaways.
