Is the Fauxhawk Updo the New 'It' Style?

(Photos Getty)We can't say that we've ever considered getting a fauxhawk. (No, not even back when we were rocking out to Blink 182 in our mom's mini van.) But we find we might just be converted to the edgy 'do after seeing a number of celebs channeling their inner punk lately with a fauxhawk updo. That's right, an updo.

Last night Nina Dobrev demonstrated the new "it" style when she wore her brunette tresses in a beyond-cool knothawk—a term dubbed by her hairstylist Riawna Capri. The braid-meets-knot 'do spanded Dobrev's entire head and created a super cool, voluminous fauxhawk.
