It's official: short hair is the new long hair.
Vanessa Hudgens — who, if you remember, openly professed short hair makes her feel like a "soccer mom" the last time she chopped it — is the latest celeb to undergo a major lock makeover this season.
A long-time fan of mermaid-like waves, the Spring Breakers actress debuted her sophisticated, shoulder-length "lob" at a party in New York City last night. Check it out:
It's not quite The Karlie — the New York Times-dubbed "It" hairstyle of 2013, named, of course, after model Karlie Kloss' curly bob — but the choppy, face-framing layers are certainly reminiscent, no? It definitely makes her look younger, but in a good way!
