Is 2011 the year Gwyneth Paltrow finally launches her music career in earnest? Not only is the platinum-haired actress slated to perform at the Grammy awards on Feb. 13th, but she'll also be performing at the Academy Awards on Feb. 27th.With Country Strong nominated for Best Original Song for "Coming Home," Paltrow is being brought in to perform the twangy ballad. Meanwhile Tangled voice actors Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi will be performing that movie's nominated song, "I See the Light." Randy Newman will perform "We Belong Together" from Toy Story 3, and A.R. Rahman and Florence Welch, of Florence + the Machine will perform "If I Rise" from 127 Hours.
Paltrow recently helped Cee-Lo Green out with his hit song "Forget You," when he performed on Saturday Night Live. She'll also showcase her golden vocal cords once again when she returns to Glee for a second appearance of her substitute teacher character.
At this point it's only a matter of time before Coldplay husband Chris Martin caves to the pressure and brings in Gwyneth to sing on the band's next album!
