It's time for hair to join in the accessorizing! At the premiere of her movie The Other Guys, Eva Mendes added a crystal-embellished hair clip to her ponytail that brightened up her entire look! Some might shy away from hair jewelry for fear of looking juvenile but, done right, accessories can take your hair to the next level. Here are a few fun ideas for amping up your 'do:

Headbands. Gossip Girl made the headband trendy again, but there's no need to resemble a snotty school girl. With everything from basic headwraps to avant-garde sculptures, there's literally something for everyone.

Clips. From small and simple to dramatic and oversize, there is a hair clip for every occasion. Choose a large gem-encrusted piece like Eva's or sprinkle several smaller sparkly ones throughout your hair for a whimsical look.
