Jessica Szohr and the Gossip Girl crew have been spotted battling the heat wave in New York to film the next season of the show. As usual, all eyes are on the stars' clothes, hair and makeup.Jessica's character Vanessa has a downtown-hipster vibe reflected in her style and hair and this season, it looks like she is going to be sporting flirty curls. To keep them bohemian, they've been given more texture and lift than normal curls. If you're adoring her look, here's how to get it:
1. Apply a styling mousse to damp hair then blow dry.
2. Sprinkle a texturizing and volumizing powder like Aveda's Pure Abundance Hair Potion onto roots and use fingers to activate by massaging in.
3. Wrap sections of hair around a hot medium-barreled curling iron. Make sure to twist in the direction away from your face.
4. Spritz each curl with hairspray after releasing.
5. Slightly loosen curls with fingers, but let them stay in chunky pieces.
