The '90s are well and truly back. In addition to girls going grunge and rocking crop tops, slipping into slip dresses, and masterfully mixing prints, the cool kids (Emma Watson, Miley Cyrus, Cara Delevingne, Nicole Richie, and Sienna Miller) are stacking earrings all the way up their cartilage, too.

It's usually just two or three glitzy hoops worn on the helix, but occasionally‎ you'll see the look taken to the max via four or more—sometimes on both ears. (That's what we call pretty in punk.)

Interested in getting involved? You can always head to your local mall to have your ear punctured, but if you aren't prepared to commit by piercing the top of your ear lobe, you could always take the easy route and fake it with clip-ons or a chunky ear cuff. Piercing-gun–shy gals such as Diane Kruger, Ashley Madekwe, Jennifer Lawrence, Rita Ora, and many more are currently working the throwback trinket trend that way.
