Army Green Marches Down the Runway at Paris Fashion Week

(Courtesy: ImaxTree)While London's runways were filled with bright confections for fall, Paris Fashion Week brought a return to neutral, utilitarian apparel, as demonstrated by (left to right) H&M, Isabel Marant, Balenciaga, Balmain, and Lanvin.

Alexander Wang, who showed a bold-hued namesake collection during New York Fashion Week, reserved more muted, military-inspired creations for Balenciaga. H&M, which showed its second-ever runway show for a string of adoring celebrity fans, complemented its own cargo pieces with colorful pops of orange, as did Balmain.
