While the line's marketing campaign is clearly satirical, its charitable efforts are not: $1 from every purchase (of human apparel, using promo code 303053Q1) will benefit the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

Google glasses are one step closer to hitting the market, thanks to Luxottica. The eyewear company, which also owns Ray-Ban and Oakley, has partnered with the tech giant to develop the accessories in more fashionable (and accessible) styles. 

Disney has invested in an unlikely company: Makers Studios, which produces the "Sh*t Fashion Girls Say" web video skits, was bought by the kid-friendly corporation—for a whopping $500 million. [Bloomberg]
