Designer Kenneth Cole is doing his part to fight AIDS across the world. Kenneth Cole New York is pairing up with Geneva Watch Group to launch the limited edition Powered by You watch.

The watch is the newest style in the automatic watch collection and is not only a well-made, stainless steel watch but is also designed to show support for amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research, which works to ease the burden of millions living with AIDS around the world.

Geneva Watch Group has pledged to donate at least $25,000 from the sale of the watches to amfAR.

The watch itself is designed for the wearer to subtly and fashionably show support for AIDS awareness. The red detailing on the watch, which symbolizes AIDS awarenss, includes a red minute tracker and an enameled double loop red ribbon on the case back.

Cole is no stranger to the AIDS awareness movement. Almost 25 years ago, the designer launched a series of ad campaigns to generate awareness and raise funds to find a cure for the disease. He partnered with amfAR in 2011 to raise AIDS awareness among a new generation. Cole also is in his 8th year as Chairman of amfAR.

The Kenneth Cole New York Powered by You watch will retail for $250 and will be available this Spring at Kenneth Cole stores, online and in department stores worldwide.
