The Hospital Gown of the Future Covers Your Butt

(Henry Ford Health Systems)

We've seen the future, and the future is ass-covering hospital-wear! The Innovation Institute at Henry Ford has finally — finally! — invented a gown that wraps around the patient, kind of like a bathrobe.

The garment closes with snaps — as opposed to flimsy ties — at the front, and it's adjustable to fit lots of different body types. Plus, the material is thicker and warmer, and, if a doctor really needs to get at your backside, the gown comes equipped with an access flap. Genius, right?

So far, the gowns — which cost about the same to make as current styles — are being used at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, but plans are in the works for them to be sold nationwide.
