Are we witnessing the breaking of the fashion e-commerce bubble? This past week, Gilt announced
it will be shuttering its full-price menswear e-tailer
Park & Bond—and now we hear that
Endless.com is closing shop and its retail operations will be absorbed by parent company
Amazon.com.
According to an announcement posted on the shoe retailer's website, operations will cease on Endless.com September 27th.
On September 27th, Endless.com will become part of Amazon.com/Fashion. This new style destination will have the latest shoes, handbags, jewelry, and watches from an expanded selection of brands—including Nine West, Frye, Sam Edelman, Rebeca Minkoff, Kate Spade New York, and more—along with the season's top clothing trends to complete the look. You'll also enjoy all the benefits of shopping on Amazon, including free shipping and free returns on eligible items.
Are you a loyal Endless.com shopper? What do you think about the move? Essentially, it seems nothing will be changing besides the URL and company name. Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below!
