Yikes, Did Manolo Blahnik Just Diss Anne Hathaway?

According to a report Page Six, the renowned footwear designer opened up to Interview magazine in its March issue, on newsstands Tuesday, about current actresses and how they just don't stack up in his humble opinion.
“I saw these girls like Sherilyn Fenn and Lara Flynn Boyle that should be working now instead of these anonymous girls,” he said. “They’re all the same. I don’t even know Amanda Seyfried or whatever ... I try to remember — the only one I remember is Julia Roberts because she’s particular. Anne Hathaway . . . Pretty? Yes. Wonderful actress? Yes. But, I mean, I don’t even remember her. What is it about her? ... As Cat Woman, yes, and I’m not saying she’s not beautiful or a great actress. I just don’t remember her.”
Yowch. We'll just have to wait and see exactly how memorable her performances are after the Oscars this weekend. Our guess? Extremely.
