serious fashion competition now.
Stylist Estee Stanley and designer Jenni Kayne have teamed up to launch
Ladys & Gents, a personal style blog for the sandbox set. Their
mission? "To showcase kids' looks at their best, from a giant tutu at ballet class to a vintage shirt and paint-splattered jeans on the playground."
(Courtesy of Ladys & Gents) Browsing through the photos, there aren't nearly as many "kids being adorable in tutus and paint-splattered pants" shots as "kids striking eerily model-esque poses in hand-knit Isabel Marant sweaters and Japanese denim."
Are they dressing themselves? They
can't be, right?

look at this girl. A Sergeant Pepper-style jacket, cuffed selvedge jeans, daytime sequins, and ombre hair? At this age, we were putting on every neon or bedazzled thing in our closets and calling it a day.
