Will ex-Balenciaga artistic director Nicolas Ghesquiere be making a return to the runway under his own name soon? According to a rumor in the New York Post, the designer has been approached by corporate backers including Li & Fung, LVMH, and Diesel—whose CEO Renzo Rosso is a big fan.

Only time will tell if Ghesquiere is planning on launching his own label. The designer's much-heralded run at Balenciaga came to an abrupt end two seasons ago when it was announced he was leaving and being replaced by Alexander Wang.
