It's a tale of a funny friendship that all started over a sandwich—a giant pastrami sandwich. An infamous Katz's Deli masterpiece that Jimmy Fallon once scarfed on the set of a Mario Testino-lensed Vogue shoot, to be exact.
Last night, Vogue creative director Grace Coddington made an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to continue the media frenzy surrounding her memoir.
While there, the chummy pals joked around about their first-ever meeting—Fallon thought she was "so cool!"—chatted about Cod's modeling days, and pored over the editor's amazing fashion sketches.
Then, as you'll see in this clip, below, Coddington gives Fallon an extra-special present she made just for him—a sketch of his Late Night set! Apparently, it took her all weekend to draw, and as Jimmy notes, she got his big head just right. Jealous? Us too.
