Marc Jacobs Wore Pajamas AGAIN Last Night

Marc Jacobs's closet full of kilts has been collecting dust this month. Much like a college freshman stumbling to her 8 a.m. class, or a twenty-something making a Saturday morning bodega run for an egg and cheese, he's taken to wearing pajamas in public.

Just last night, the designer busted out some striped loungewear at an event celebrating the unveiling of his new Diet Coke campaign (he's the drink's creative director).

And he slipped into printed pj's to take all three of his runway bows this fashion month — at Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Louis Vuitton.

Our only complaint: we don't know how committed he is to the look. Sure, he'll wear pajamas when making a public appearance for a few hours, but until we see a paparazzi shot of him working out in a polar bear-print flannel pj set, or dining at a swishy restaurant in a striped satin button-down and matching lounge pants, we remain unconvinced that Marc Jacobs is the champion of comfort he claims to be.

  • All the time! Who wants to deal with waistbands?
  • Only if I'm positive I won't run into anyone I know.
  • No way! Pajamas are for the bedroom only.
