Suno Teams Up with Uniqlo, Cuteness Ensues

(Uniqlo)

Suno designers Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty are known for their beautiful prints and simple cuts — Michelle Obama is a fan! — but their designs are on the spendier side (think upwards of $400 for a shirtdress, and twice that amount for more elaborate styles).

Which is why, even though we kind of have collaboration fatigue, we were pretty excited to hear that the label teamed up with Japanese fast fashion giant Uniqlo on a line of under-$40 separates in vibrantly patterned cottons. "We wanted to create something sweet, straight forward and easy," Beatty explains.

The capsule collection, which is appropriately titled "Japanese Americana," hits Uniqlo stores and Uniqlo.com on May 20th, which, conveniently, is exactly the time of year I want to buy every floral and striped thing in sight.
