BEHOLD: Raf Simons' First Dior Ads Are Slightly Surreal
(Courtesy of Dior)Raf Simons's first campaign images for Dior have hit the internet — and looking at them kind of feels like getting lost in a super stylish labyrinth full of bored models.
The photos feature a jumble of perspectives, with Dior-clad ladies posing in front of Magritte-like clouds, opulent wall sconces, and fluttery curtains like the ones Simons used as a runway backdrop in his fall 2012 Dior show.
(Courtesy of Dior) We're getting some serious Jil Sander vibes from the ads' minimalist look. It's quite a departure from Dior's usual famous face + opulent setting formula, don't you think?
