Mood board: shades of yellow
After a fairly mild Holiday Season, the temperatures have dropped here, and you know how I feel about that. To be fair, we did have a few days of sun, but it was so cold that it prompted Stella’s teacher to joke about the possibility that there was actually something wrong with the sun, since its rays seemed to bring only light but no warmth at all. (… ok, maybe you had to be there.)
After whining about the grey, dark days, it feels like someone is playing a cruel joke: Here, have some sun, you spoiled brat. But make no mistake, it is still friggin’ winter, you silly cow.
Yes, I know that it’s good to have seasons and all, but I can’t help but long for warmer spring days – hence the yellow collage, ’cause yellow just seems to exude warmth, doesn’t it? And boy, could I do with some warmth. Brrr.
I hope it’s warmer where you are!
