There’s a feeling that sits somewhere in the spectrum between absolute calm and pure elation. It comes from being alone, breathing in fresh cold air, submerging one’s self in the comfort of a well-loved song. Those are the times you throw your head back and close your eyes and take relief in the fact that it doesn’t matter where you’ve just come from or where you’re going next: because you exist only for now.
