Sun, sea, sex & happiness: Orlebar Brown celebrates 5 years of swim shorts
It’s hard to believe that British men’s swimwear label Orlebar Brown has only been around for 5 years; it seems like the “OB way of life” has been on top of our mind for, well, ever. And that’s the beauty of the swimwear brand: it found a niche, and filled it in a way that one could only assume it had always been there.
To celebrate half a decade of mixing trends and practicality, the brand is launching a swim shorts collection, made out of 12 different designs to be released periodically throughout the year in association with Getty Images. Those limited editions trunks are built around bold photographic prints from the likes of Slim Aarons, Dennis Hallinan and John Arsenault, as well as a few images submitted by costumers. All pictures represent what the company believes is the “OB way of life”, a mixture of sun, sea, sex and happiness.
