Stockholm based label Acne (Ambition to Create Novel Expression) was founded by Jonny Johansson on a collection of raw denim with red stitching and impeccable cuts. Over time Acne started producing beyond their basic five-pocket jeans, making cool blazers and dresses from sweatshirt material and trim blazers and T-shirts with slightly scooped necks. They now show at London Fashion Week and for Fall 2012 Johansson took a cue from a trio of artists. The André Kertész’s beautifully distorted art , erotic sculptor Hans Bellmer and the painter Hanneline Røgeberg, who inspired the collection's palette.
