Blue jeans are not exactly the go-to when it comes to making a statement come fashion week – unless they’re of the studded, ripped, Balmain kind. That’s because plain blue jeans long ago passed into the realm of commonality. But the right pops of colour, the right hint of classic elegance that borrows its palette from the 1970s, and a pair of blue denim can be the foundation of an understated yet stylish look.
