Once in a long while we see a collection so complete, so utterly beautiful in its execution that it leaves us breathless. The Lanvin Fall ‘12 show did just that in its flawless rounded peplum shapes, rich color blocked hues, baroque sewed on oversized jewels and neon dyes fur wraps. There was practically four collections presented as one, each set of clothing meandering into the next culmination in a standing ovation and that much more love for its designer, the great Alber Elbaz.
