She may be one half of the biggest couple to hit the US political stage since the Kennedy’s, but as everyone knows, behind every great man, stands a great woman.

Michelle Obama has seamlessly transcended from the role as the silent accomplice of a powerful spouse, to become an icon and inspiration in her own right. Whether rousing the spirits of young North London schoolgirls by taking them on an aspirational trip to Oxford University’s Christ Church college, or cutting a fine dash on a plethora of red carpets – everything is done with boundless style.

We cannot get enough of her keep fit efforts, whilst her real dedication to attempting to change the future of the younger generation’s is both heart meltingly admirable and seems in earnest.

From McQueen to the relatively unheard of Tracy Reese, ‘Mobama’ as we like to call her, truly understands the importance to the global economy, of supporting regional fashion designers and becoming the champion of style over expenditure. A true wonder-woman, and long may she reign.
