Slick and sporty goes sexy
Sex appeal – much like beauty – comes in an infinite variety of forms. If you needed proof of that fact or wanted to explore the matter further (a less-than-tedious homework assignment if ever there was one) you’d need only pick up an issue of Treats! which is as much about celebrating and exploring all things sexy as it is about fashion, or photography, or modern culture or anything else.
James Macari’s latest contribution gives sexy a somewhat sporty spin. Though when using the word sporty here it’s very much in line with the zeitgeist’s definition of the term as it applies so fashion. It’s all pristine white garments made from leather, clean white cotton and mesh (styled by Michela Buratti) and oil-slicked wet hair (styled by Rodney Groves) with the kind of smudgy eyes (makeup artistry by Christopher Ardoff) you’d expect to find on an Alexander Wang runway.
