Baseball caps: athletic with an edge

When a sporty element and an utterly delicate one come together as a whole, most of the times the resulting combos strike as a beautiful interpretation of 21st century femininity: far more relaxed, dominated by a quiet confidence, still dashing at heart but carrying along some sort of an edge. The unusual morphs into novelty rather quickly once the eyes get accustomed with the fashionable transition.
Baseball cap and a sequin dress? Now that was cataloged eccentric a few seasons back, maybe because, just as sneakers suddenly became the coolest shoes to pair to a fancy dress, the caps have the headwear department moving with a different speed now. Once the spring 2013 runways made use of such up-beat accessories to style everything from evening garments, to leather ensembles and flirty silhouettes, one thing became clear: it is more than time to erase everything we though we knew about rules and fashion.
