Erotica. You might imagine that such a label would be earned through some unwholesome display of skin or overt sexual content. But erotica by definition is about arousing a desire through some artwork, be it painted, written or photographic. And sometimes, where such inflamed desires are concerned, suggestion is better than depiction.
It can be a tongue licking a bold red lip, an smokey eye obscured by lace, an outfit domineered by a fetishist leather harness. FASHIONTREND Magazine’s 27th issue explores all of those things, and does so particularly well with this lead shoot by Jason Ierace. Ierace’s photography, along with the styling by Virginia Dowzer and makeup by Rae Morris for L’Oréal Paris, creates something erotic without the use of nudity.
