The much anticipated cover is here! Rihanna graces the April issue of Vogue for their annual shape issue, wearing a skin tight sheer Chanel dress, with lace and jeweled floral pattern. Her trademark red mane was styled in a retro look reminiscent of the 40′s. Honestly, I think this is one of her best covers, of course after her Vogue Italia cover and spread. Love, love this!
Nice spread! In the issue, she talks about her father’s betrayal and loving her body:
On her father’s betrayal:
“It really makes me question what I have become to my father. Like, what do I even mean to him? …..It’s really strange. That’s the only word I can think of to describe it, because you grow up with your father, you know him, you are a part of him, for goodness’ sakes! And then he does something so bizarre that I can’t begin to wrap my mind around it. You hear the horror stories about people going behind people’s backs and doing strange things, but you always think, Not my family. My father would never do that to me.”
On loving her body:
“Over the holidays, and even during filming, I realized that I actually like my body, even if it’s not perfect according to the book. I just feel sexy. For the first time, I don’t want to get rid of the curves. I just want to tone it up. My body is comfortable, and it’s not unhealthy, so I’m going to rock with it.”
Damn, if you can’t trust the people you came in with, who can you trust?
