Color-Blocking (J.crew.com) We get it, color-blocking has taken the fashion world by storm. The play with contrast is the loudest trend of the moment and, by the looks of the Spring 2012 runways, it's here to stay. The vibrant style is showing up in all variations of color combinations on everything from tops to dresses and coats to accessories.

For a flirty frock with an edge, Urban Outfitters has the perfect solution: Check out their strapless knit corset dress in colorways of tangerine, cranberry and aqua for $59.

For an easy fall transition, we fell in love with J. Crew's multitude of color-blocked long-sleeve tees that can be perfectly paired with jeans or a pencil skirt. Try their nude and orange or navy and green variations for $39.50.

Lulu's is also following the trend in full-force. The online retailer offers a romantic strapless cocktail dress in shades of pink for a sweet evening style at $68, as well as a comfortable knit tube dress in rustic hues for only $32.
