The 2018 Golden Globes red carpet marked a shift towards change in Hollywood- for all the right reasons. Black dresses dominated the night with actresses and activists donning the color as a symbol of standing in solidarity with the Time’s Up movement, protesting sexual harassment in Hollywood and beyond.

For the highly anticipated show, stars chose to bring a different kind of guest to accompany them on the red carpet: activists. Emma Stone was joined by tennis player Billie Jean King, while Michelle Williams brought #MeToo activist Tarana Burke, Laura Dern with women's activist Mónica Ramírez, and so much more.

With all the eye-catching, gorgeous gowns that will grace the red carpet this year, there's no doubt that the statements made from the voices that are wearing them will have the most impact this awards season.
