The stars on the 2019 Grammy Awards red carpet did not come to play. Held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, A-list artists and celebrities arrived at the annual ceremony to celebrate the year's best songs, albums, and more for one of the most illustrious nights in music.

Host Alicia Keys looked radiant in a red floor-length Giorgio Armani gown. Miley Cyrus shut it down in an amazing black Mugler pantsuit — sans shirt — that she wore before hitting the stage with Shawn Mendes to perform "In My Blood." Oh, and we can't forget to mention Lady Gaga, who stunned in a strapless Celine silver dress complete with a thigh-baring slit and over 100 carats of Tiffany & Co. diamonds. When at the Grammys, go big or go home, right?

And talking about going big, Cardi B won the red carpet in the most talked-about look of the night: An elaborate dress that channeled Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus with a shell-inspired silhouette, sheer bodysuit, and matching pink satin gloves straight from Thierry Mugler's 1995 Couture collection. The vintage look was all about drama, cementing it as a Grammys outfit that will go down in fashion history.

Other looks that stood out? Camila Cabello looked disco-chic in a dazzling pink Armani Privé creation. Best New Artist nominee, Dua Lipa, shimmered in a strapless silver Atelier Versace gown. And, last but not least, Bebe Rexha looked flawless in a red tulle Monsoori dress, despite the fact that the singer earlier stated that no designers would dress her because she was a size 8. Brands such as Karl Lagerfeld, Moschino, Christian Siriano, August Getty, and Michael Costello stepped up to the plate and offered to dress the star, with Monsoori ultimately winning the spot.
