Sarah Hyland dressed up a simple ponytail by adding a lot of curl and volume through the crown. To duplicate her lovely look, begin by blow drying damp naturally curly tresses with a diffuser, or setting straighter dry hair on hot rollers. Once curls have been created, section out a few face-framing pieces and backcomb the rest of the hair throughout the crown. Then, lightly finger comb hair, smoothing it out yet still maintaining as much volume through the crown as possible and draw hair back into a ponytail at the middle of the back of the head.
