Taylor Swift's Romantic Twists
Taylor Swift's romantic updo works best on ladies with long locks. However, incorporating some artificial tresses is an option if you're looking to recreate Taylor's twisted style. To begin, brush tresses out to ensure they're tangle-free. If you've got lots of natural texture, blow-drying damp hair with a large round brush will help smooth out waves and curls, making it easier to style. Next, section out bangs if you've got 'em along with a few pieces around the face. Then, draw hair back and divide into two equal sections, one behind each ear. Start with one side and loosely twist hair away from the face. As you twist, secure hair to the back of the head with u-shaped hair pins, inserting them at intervals to anchor the 'do. Also, as you proceed to twist the section, begin to twist the longer lengths more tightly, winding it around on the back of the head. Once you've twisted and pinned the first section, repeat on the other side. The goal is to simply fill in the entire back of the head with your twisted tresses. Once both sides are completed, mist with hairspray and style your bangs or face framing strands. Add a few waves with a curling iron, or leave your fringe straight, like Taylor's.
