Charlize Theron's Twisted & Braided Bun
Charlize Theron's shoulder-length bob was entirely transformed with some added hair. This look is incredibly easy to duplicate and if you have long hair to begin with, so much the better. To get Charlize's look, begin with straight hair. Using a flat iron may help to ensure that tresses are super-sleek. Next, make a center part, section out a few face-framing strands and pull the rest of the hair into a tight ponytail at the nape of the neck. After you've made the ponytail, braid a two-inch section of the hair you'll be adding (or braid a two-inch section of the pony tail if you have longer hair). Also, twist another two-inch section of hair (or twist part of a long ponytail). Take the braid and the twist and secure both ends together with a hair elastic. Take the braid/twist and tuck one pair of ends into the hair elastic securing the ponytail and then wind it around the base of the ponytail, pinning ends in place. It will also help to insert a few u-shaped hair pins around the perimeter of the bun.
