(Courtesy of The Big Wedding) The Big Wedding—a movie coming out in October starring
Diane Keaton,
Susan Sarandon,
Amanda Seyfried, and
Katherine Heigl—plays to the chaos of planning a wedding. Especially when mom (Diane Keaton) has to pretend to be married to dad (
Robert De Niro) when he has already remarried her former best friend (Susan Sarandon).
In other words: drama!
From the film's trailer we can already tell how well each character's style matches her personality. So, since wedding season isn't over just yet, let's take a look at what type of wedding guest
you are, and how you can dress to fit your type.
The Prep
(YouTube)For all of you preppy people out there who like to keep it conservative-chic, a light-colored blazer, thick pearls, and high-waisted skirt or trousers will keep you feeling (and looking) classic at the wedding. Layer with either a silky collared blouse or lace camisole, and finish it off with sexy slingbacks or stilettos for a timeless, trendy outfit.

(YouTube)If you're anything like Susan Sarandon's character in the movie, then you're free-wheeling and fun, with just the right touch of attitude. Throw on a ruffled printed dress, strappy heels, and small teardrop earrings for a fashionable look that still colors just outside of the lines.
