Purring for Katy Perry's Perfume

Katy PerryKaty Perry generally likes to march to the beat of her own drum. But sometimes, she just wants to make like the cool kids. With the launch of her new perfume, Katy now joins the dozens of celebs who have expressed themselves through scent.
A self-described "product whore," Katy felt she could make an impact on the fragrance industry just as she did with music. Her first perfume, Purr by Katy Perry, will arrive at Nordstrom this November. The bottle is shaped like a pussycat, with jeweled eyes and metallic accents. What's with the cat motif? Here's what Katy said:
I’m a very lyrical-based person, and the whole ‘purr’ thing kept coming back — [the sound is in] perfume, perfect, even Perry if you say it a certain way. It just seemed logical.
Katy put all her efforts into the perfume, aiming to make something she had never smelled before. To that end, the perfume is comprised of varying levels of 10 different scents. No one ever said Katy Perry was simple, so it's fitting that her scent isn't either.
