(BauerGriffin) The new Mischa Barton flagship in London
Remember Mischa Barton? She starred in the hit television show The OC from 2003 to 2006, did a few movies, and then hightailed it to London to study theater and launch her clothing and accessories line—which heretofore had only been sold at multi-label boutiques and online at at e-commerce sites such as ASOS.
Barton's always been a stylish star—she was, once upon a time, one of the most-paparazzi-ed celebrities in Hollywood and downtown New York City (where photogs would camp out and wait for her to walk her dog around Washington Square Park every single morning—and she never failed to look fabulous). So it's hardly a surprise that her eponymous clothing and accessories label has really taken off. The girl's got an eye.
Last night the actress hosted the grand opening of her flagship boutique—situated in the Spitalfields Market in a once-edgy part of East London (now much-gentrified). The bijoux space stocks Barton's entire collection.
"It's nice that everything now has a home, a hub," Barton told Vogue UK. "The brand was born in London, so I wanted [the store] to start here. Spitalfields Market is a perfect fit, because even though it's East, it's still very well contained. The stores are really beautiful and old, and there are some really interesting brands here. It's a good place to start. Also, now it's super hip."

And the party cupcakes were so cute!
