In "things we didn't know we wanted until we didn't get them" news: Diet Coke creative director
Jean Paul Gaultier has unveiled two fashion-forward bottles he's created for the European market. The designs are tailormade to match the brand's twisted, Pinnochio-goes-fashion puppet commercials (see below), which have recently come to haunt our dreams.
The designs appear to be sippable likenesses of the man himself, and a certain blonde exhibitionist we know (not Lady Gaga, the other one—remember, from the Super Bowl?).
Intricate as that lacy cone bra contraption pictured above may be, it's not all the designer has been working on in his spare time. He's also been busy creating costumes for a French staging of
The Marriage of Figaro due to premiere next month in Paris. According to
WWD, he's also hard at work on a spectacular runway presentation of his latest couture, ready to wear and men's collection for an audience of 500 next month in Beijing.
